Movement context
Supported motion signals can contribute to activity and rest estimates while the Watch is worn and the app has permission to monitor.
Optional real-pet sync
When a compatible Apple Watch is worn by your cat or dog, Furroam can use movement and short sound signals to estimate everyday activity and update the same companion on your screen.
Apple Watch sync is optional. Furroam does not describe these estimates as a medical device or veterinary diagnosis.
A phone companion preview. Apple Watch features require compatible devices and permissions.
What it does
Furroam uses signals available from consumer hardware to create useful, everyday observations. It is intentionally clear about the difference between an estimate and a measurement you can rely on for diagnosis.
Supported motion signals can contribute to activity and rest estimates while the Watch is worn and the app has permission to monitor.
When enabled and appropriate, the Watch can analyze short microphone windows locally for supported sound events. Raw audio is not saved or uploaded.
Supported Watch events can appear beside manual notes in the same daily record, with source labels so you can tell how each entry was created.
Be clear about limits
How the connection works
First, choose a companion in Furroam and keep a journal on your iPhone. If you decide to try real-pet updates, pair a compatible Apple Watch and grant the permissions required for monitoring.
Supported activity estimates can then update the companion and appear in the record. If the Watch is offline or charging, the app can continue with manual logging and the companion's independent simulated activity.
The source stays visible. Manual entries, Watch-based estimates, and simulated companion behavior are not presented as the same kind of information.
