What Furroam keeps, and what it leaves alone.

Effective September 28, 2026. This policy covers the Furroam app for iPhone (com.petwatch.companion), its Apple Watch companion, Mac app, widgets, and the video delivery service at api.furroam.app.

Pet records stay on your devices and in your private iCloud, if you use it. The Watch analyzes short sounds locally and does not upload raw audio. Apple handles payment. We do not run ads or cross-app tracking.

Pet profiles and monitoring

The app stores your pet profile, preferences, activity classifications, timestamps, and connection status on your devices. When iCloud is available, configuration and monitoring records can synchronize through your private iCloud database and iCloud key-value storage. Paired devices also exchange this information using Apple’s WatchConnectivity and local-network connections.

These features describe everyday pet activity. They are not a medical device and do not provide a veterinary diagnosis.

With your permission, the Watch analyzes motion and short microphone windows on the Watch itself. Raw microphone audio is not saved and is not uploaded. Derived activity events can synchronize with your paired devices and private iCloud storage. The Watch may request HealthKit workout-session authorization so a monitoring session can continue. It does not read your existing Health records, and it does not save a completed workout to Health.

Purchases and downloaded videos

Apple processes subscriptions and payments. Furroam receives Apple-signed transaction information, such as product and transaction identifiers, subscription status, and expiry. Our Cloudflare Worker sends the relevant transaction identifiers to Apple’s App Store Server API to verify access, then returns a short-lived download authorization. The Worker does not keep a customer account database and does not store the purchase receipts you submit.

Cloudflare Workers and R2 deliver the pet videos you choose. To do that, they process request details such as your IP address, the resource you asked for, and the authorization. Infrastructure providers may keep operational logs under their own policies. Downloaded videos and generated widget frames stay on your device. Media you import is processed locally and is not uploaded to the video service.

Download authorizations expire within five minutes.

How we use information, and who else sees it

We use this information to provide the companion, subscriptions, downloads, monitoring, synchronization, and support. We do not include advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. We do not sell personal data. We do not use pet records for targeted advertising.

Apple and Cloudflare process information as needed to provide their services, under their own policies: Apple’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Your choices, retention, and deletion

Stop monitoring in the app, and revoke microphone, motion, Health, or local-network permission in device settings.
Delete downloaded pet videos with the app’s download controls.
Remove local profiles and records in the app, or by deleting the app from a device.
Manage or delete Furroam’s iCloud data in iCloud storage settings, where available. Turn off synchronization on your devices so deleted data is not recreated.
Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and it may not remove iCloud data. Keychain pairing information may remain after the app is deleted.

Apple keeps purchase records under its own policies. How long Apple or Cloudflare keep operational logs is governed by those companies.
